Life Mission...sounds big. Well it is and it isn't. We all have a life mission. Uncovering our reason for being here, on earth is one of the most important thing we can do. Businesses have a mission statement, why don't individuals?
As a teacher I work with students to attempt to help them start unpacking their reason(s) for being here. We work on a personal mission statement after discovering what they love, their gifts, talents, and how they want to be in the world. This is not something I was taught in school...wish I had. I believe we all need to understand how our gifts and talents are to be used to be in service to others.
What lights you up? What keeps coming into your awareness? What have you gone through? These are all important. Are they a part of your life mission? Perhaps. Once you start asking there may be many more questions than answers. Start with asking, "Why am I here?".
My life mission is to help others know their value and worth by uncovering their gifts and talents and support them to take them out in the world to make it a better place. I'd love talk life mission with you.
